Supporting housing trust’s star performance
Halton Housing Trust has received a positive report from the Audit Commission – thanks to a little help from IPB.
The social landlord, which has 6,000 homes across Runcorn and Widnes, was set up in 2005, after tenants voted to transfer from the local council.

To help the Trust prepare for its first audit inspection, IPB delivered an imaginative staff and stakeholder communications campaign. Activity ranged from a staff roadshow to a flagship ‘year of improvement’ booklet.
A well-prepared Trust impressed the inspectors, and scored its first ‘star’ – the social housing sector’s equivalent of a Michelin star!

Nick Atkin, Chief Executive of Halton Housing Trust said: “IPB was instrumental in developing an internal communications campaign to prepare staff for the inspection process. This supported and motivated the Board and our staff, and ensured all our communication lines were fully effective.”
Congratulations to the Trust from all at IPB. |
