IPB has been nominated for seven awards in the annual North West and North East Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards.

The nominations, across six categories, underline the outstanding campaigns delivered over the last year by our PR, Consult and Design teams.

IPB's North West office has this year been nominated in the following categories:

- Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy

- Community Relations - for our community engagement work with Tesco surrounding planning approval for their Greater Eston, Middlesborough store.

- Crisis Management - for our work with City West Housing Trust following a gas explosion at one of their properties in Irlam, which received national news coverage.

- Not for Profit - for our work with Bury Hospice helping raising funds for its new end of life care centre.

Our North East office has received nominations for:

- Best Campaign - for helping Derwentside Homes highlight the apprenticeship opportunities that the organisation offers.

- Best Campaign - for our work helping Cestria Community Housing promote new services for financial and welfare issues.

- Best Internal Newsletter - for the implementation of a staff newsletter within Cestria Community Housing.

The nominations follow several award wins in recent years, including the North West Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy of the year award in 2007.

Award ceremonies will be held in both Manchester and Newcastle later this year.
