IPB Communications has won Gold for the Internal Newspaper or Magazine category at this year's Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards North East.
The award was presented in recognition of our work producing Cestria Community Housing Association's staff newsletter @Cestria.
The quarterly publication is designed to complement the County Durham housing association's existing internal channels of communication by providing staff with a review of news, performance and events within the company.
IPB works to source stories, write copy, organise photography and design the newsletter, which is distributed electronically to more than 140 staff.
IPB was also shortlisted in the Best Campaign Under £10,000 category for our work promoting Cestria's Financial Inclusion service.
This successful campaign resulted in tenants claiming an extra £1m in benefits they were entitled to, the number of notices served for rent arrears falling by 10% and the number of evictions by 50%, compared to the previous year.
The CIPR PRide Awards represent the best, most creative and most effective public relations work across the UK, with more than 1,000 entries to this year's event.
