IPB has been named as the CIPR President's Grand Prix winner in this year's best leaflet category.
The agency was entered into the prestigious awards after
scooping Gold for the Oldham Rochdale Housing Market Renewal
Pathfinder's "Werneth is changing" leaflet at the
North West Chartered Institute of Public Relations Awards in 2008.
The PRide Awards Gold award winners are judged by a panel of
experienced CIPR professionals and are pitched against Gold award
winners in the same category from other regions for a Grand Prix
Award.
The judges' comments were: "This leaflet is everything a
concise piece of communication should be. In order to get across
information, on the regeneration of the Werneth housing
neighbourhood in Oldham, it combines an imaginative 'concertina
fold' design and use of full colour to attract the reader.
"The simple to follow layout and good use of images then makes
for an easy and very interesting read. I am sure housing officers
will be as keen to hand this leaflet out as residents will be to
receive it."
CIPR President Kevin Taylor said: "Winning a Grand Prix Award
is a fantastic achievement. The winners have all demonstrated not
only that their work is among the best in the country, but also the
value that PR can deliver to a business. They should be proud of
their achievements."
IPB Communications Managing Director Stewart Pimbley said:
"This is a real credit to the team and reinforces our
credentials as a national agency that can compete with the best
from around the country."
