Our fantastic consultation track record in
Wales has continued with another 'yes' vote from Council
tenants in the latest ballot on the future of their homes.
More than 70 per cent of tenants who voted in Blaenau Gwent supported the Council's proposals to transfer their 6,300 homes to a new organisation, Tai Calon.
The vote will unlock £111 million investment in homes and services over the next five years.
IPB has worked with the Council since last year, delivering a detailed and wide-ranging consultation with tenants and stakeholders.
The success means we have achieved 'yes' votes in Wales in Bridgend, Monmouthshire, Conwy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Newport, Torfaen and Gwynedd, along with dozens of successful outcomes for English local authorities.
In that time, we have consulted more than one million people and achieved an average voter turnout approaching 70 per cent.
