IPB's reputation as one of the country's leading public sector communication agencies has been confirmed by five successful housing transfer consultations in two weeks.
Tenants in Berwick, Newport, Conwy, Ribble Valley and Blaby all voted 'yes' to proposals to transfer their homes, after sustained communication campaigns delivered by IPB.
Local endorsement was especially strong in Ribble Valley borough, where voter turnout in the ballot was an impressive 86 per cent. The Conwy and Newport results are of particular importance in Wales, where most local authorities are to consult their tenants on the option to transfer.
In total, the consultation covered around 20,000 homes. The
proposals will help generate long term investment worth hundreds of
millions of pounds.
IPB Managing Director Stewart Pimbley said: "These results are testament not only to the hard work of our staff, but also the strong partnership approach we take with our clients.
"We helped our clients lead from the front in communicating with their tenants and stakeholders. The results promise to secure a legacy that will last for a generation."
