As a journalist, Ben covered a wide range of issues affecting the public sector, from housing, regeneration and transport to industrial disputes and corruption trials. Before joining IPB, he was a spokesman for the Greater Manchester Ambulance Service, among other organisations.

Ben is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
